- Introduction
The rationalization of electricity price adjustment is an urgent issue and an important core of energy conservation and carbon reduction policies. Low electricity prices also lead to inefficient electricity consumption and the stagnation of energy conservation.
Moreover, the gap between the purchase rate of renewable energy and the growth of renewable energy indirectly affects the development of renewable energy and its related industries; even social unfairness occurs. The more electricity is used, the greater the subsidy received is tantamount to "robbing the poor to help the rich."
The "green electricity price", which is common in practice, is sold in the market by electricity users voluntarily subscribing as funds for the development of renewable energy. And the "renewable energy surcharge", which adopts a surcharge method to add the purchase cost of renewable energy power to the electricity fee, has become a necessary supporting measure.
